This was another GREAT Bonspiel!
Thank you to all whom made this another huge success!

CD Donation

Upgrading your stereo system and need a home for your old CD player? The club needs a replacement for its temperamental CD player. If you have such an item or are interested in purchasing one for the club, contact Cathy Haag.

WHMT Auction

On November 30th some of the Schenectady Members will be participating in the WMHT auction from 7:00 – 11:00 by answering phones. Shaun-Paul Manore will have a live interview during one of the commercial breaks. I would like to thank those of you who volunteered and would like to remind everyone to please be at the studio by 6:30.

This is one great way for us to market our Club to the community. I would like to invite the membership to watch during this time frame in support of our fellow members.

With Thanks, Jane.

T Line Editor

Hello Everyone! My name is Maureen Fodera and I will be helping out with the T Line this year. I have big shoes to fill with Evie Blackhall as the past Editor. I will be looking for her guidance as I go along. I would also like to thank Jane for working on the T Line at the start of this season.

My goal is for the T Line to be informative and fun to read. I am looking for any information that would relate to curling. Event results, league results, curling stories and anything else you would like to share with the membership. The T Line will be out on Tuesday of each week. Sunday’s will be the deadline for the next weeks T Line. Please contact me to report any curling news. GOOD CURLING!

Men With Brooms

"Holiday Gift Idea"

Men with Brooms Reviewer: A viewer from Colorado, USA: I caught this over the weekend and then had to go back. What a sweet, funny movie! I'm so glad it finally got a big-screen release in the USA! The Canadian setting and the curling give the movie freshness to US eyes, even though the sports story is a classic. There's also a heartfelt story about finding love and redemption. Strong women characters raise this above the usual male-oriented comedy film, and there's a lot of verbal humor as well as slapstick. Paul Gross does a wonderful job as the prodigal son. His character is flawed but likable and he's devastatingly attractive. His many fans from his days as the Mountie on "Due South" will not be disappointed.
