Sign up and learn curling, one of the newest Olympic sports. Curling is an ancient Scottish sport that was once played on ponds and lakes and is now played at our indoor ice facility in Niskayuna. Each class will be taught by United Stated Curling Association certified instructors. You will learn all of the basics of delivering the stone, sweeping, scoring and how to play the game.

This course is designed for adults and teens 16 years of age and older who have never tried the sport. Wear gloves, and warm, comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Layers are best. The temperature on the ice is about 38 degrees. Bring clean, rubber-soled footwear, such as sneakers, to change into. Curling equipment will be available for your use.

If you have any questions, please contact CurlingLessons@SchenectadyCurlingClub.org.
